1. These regulations apply to the use of artificial intelligence (hereinafter referred to as AI) tools in the Contemporary Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling, including but not limited to large language models, generative AI, code-assistance tools, and intelligent mathematics software.
2. The use of AI tools is not mandatory for solving contest problems. Teams that have not used any AI tools must explicitly declare after the references: "This team has not used any AI tools."
3. Teams may use AI tools during the contest, but they must adhere to the principle of openness and transparency, and ensure that the core modeling and analysis of their submitted work are completed independently by the team members.
4. (1) Content generated by AI tools should be cited at the corresponding position in the main text. The AI tools used should be listed in the references section in the following format: [Number] Tool Name, Version/Model, Developer/Company, Date of Use. (Example: [1] DeepSeek, DeepSeek-R1-0528, DeepSeek, 2025-09-05)
(2) Submissions that use AI tools must include a detailed description of AI tool usage in the supporting materials (in PDF format, with "Details of AI Tool Usage" as the filename), which should contain:
l Names and versions of the AI tools used
l Specific purposes and stages of use
l Key interaction records (important prompts and responses)
l Adoption and manual modification details
(3) Submissions that do not comply with the above requirements will be considered a violation of the contest rules, and their eligibility for awards will be revoked.
5. These regulations will be implemented on a trial basis starting from September 1, 2025.
6. The right to interpret these regulations belongs to the Organizing Committee of the Contemporary Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling.
